TAMPA, Fla. - The family of a missing Tampa man is still hopeful he'll be back for Christmas, and to make their wish a reality, they're increasing the reward for his safe return.
Emilio Martinez went missing from his Wellswood driveway Wednesday night after buying food and groceries for his pregnant wife, Kacee.
Family members have combined resources to raise a $5,000 reward to $15,000 for Emilio's safe return.
Surveillance video captured at a neighbor's house shows a man running in the direction of the Martinez home just as Emilio's car drove by.
A neighborhood teen also reported seeing a strange man with dark skin, wearing a leather jacket and jeans, roaming in their backyard.
Emilio Martinez was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and jeans. His car is a silver 2007 Toyota Camry.
The family has yet to receive any news from law enforcement as to Emilio's whereabouts.

TAMPA, Florida -- The medican examiner has identified the body found in the vacant lot off Orient Road is that of a man who disappeared more than a week ago.

Emilio Martinez (Rodriguez), 34, vanished on Dec. 15 after leaving his home to get dinner for his pregnant wife. Martinez was last seen on a neighbor's security video as his car approached his house.

He didn't make it to his front door and his car was also missing before workers making rounds at the Islamic Center of Tampa Bay found it Thursday afternoon. They say the interior of the car was bleached and a body was lying face-down "40 or 50 feet away."

The Tampa Police Department (TPD) hasn't said how Martinez-Rodrguez was killed.

TPD is also still trying to find out who may have killed Martinez, with its best clue a suspicious person spotted by neighbors - and on security video - the night of Martinez' disappearance.
